BLUETTI PV350D Solar Panel | 350W

A power station without a panel is a battery you have to bring home to refill. Add the PV350D and the arithmetic changes completely a bach, a van, a campsite or a multi-day outage stops being a countdown and starts being sustainable.

BLUETTI PV350D 350W Foldable Solar Panel

350W of monocrystalline solar, folded down to something that slides behind a seat, with a kickstand that lets you track the sun through the day.

What 350W actually gives you

Worth being straight about this, because it’s the thing people get wrong. 350W is the rating under standard test conditions a laboratory measurement at full sun intensity and 25°C. Nobody’s panel produces its rated figure all day, anywhere in the world.

What you can realistically expect:

Conditions Approximate output
Clear summer day, angled at the sun, midday Close to rated
Clear day, panel lying flat on the ground Noticeably lower
Light or high cloud A fraction of rated
Heavy overcast Very little
Winter, low sun angle Well below summer figures

This is not a criticism of the panel it’s how all solar works. What it means practically is that angle matters more than wattage. A well-aimed 350W panel beats a bigger one lying flat, which is exactly why the kickstand earns its place.

The kickstand is the feature, not an accessory

New Zealand sits between roughly 34° and 47° south, so the sun tracks low across the northern sky for much of the year. A flat panel is pointed at the wrong part of the sky most of the day, particularly in winter.

The adjustable kickstand lets you tilt toward the sun and re-angle it a couple of times through the day. Two minutes of repositioning at lunchtime is usually worth more than any spec on the box.

24% cell efficiency, ETFE-coated

Monocrystalline cells rated up to 24% conversion efficiency, meaning more power from the same physical area the reason this folds to a manageable size instead of a much larger one.

The ETFE coating is the durable choice for foldable panels: better light transmission than PET, more scratch-resistant, and it stands up to UV over years of outdoor use rather than clouding and getting brittle.

IP65: built for weather, not for storms

IP65 means it shrugs off dust, sea spray, humidity and rain while you’re using it. Sensible practice still applies bring it in overnight, keep the connectors out of standing water, and don’t leave it out in a gale. Treat it as weather-resistant gear, not permanent rooftop hardware.

Folds flat, but bring both hands

Unfolded it’s 2.4 metres long, so you want a reasonable patch of ground. Folded it’s roughly the footprint of a large suitcase at 905 × 613 × 65mm, and it weighs 14kg.

That’s a genuine two-hand carry solid rather than featherweight. The upside of that weight is a panel with proper glass-free construction, real hinges and a stand that holds position in a breeze.

Plugs into a compatible station

Comes with an MC4 to XT90 cable. Before ordering, check two things on your power station: that it accepts MC4 or XT90 solar input, and that the panel’s voltage and current sit inside its solar input window. Connector shape alone doesn’t guarantee compatibility. If you’re not sure, send us your model and we’ll confirm.
