The Ubiquiti UniFi Patch Cable is a slim, flexible RJ45 patch lead built for tidy rack and wall-plate work. This part is the 3 m length in blue. Both ends use Ubiquiti’s bendable booted RJ45 connector, so the boot can be folded back against the plug to let the cable sit flush in a shallow enclosure, behind a wall-mounted access point, or against the rear of a crowded patch panel without putting a sharp bend on the conductors. It suits installers colour-coding links inside a UniFi rack as well as anyone who simply wants a neater run than a standard moulded patch lead allows.
Key features
- Bendable booted RJ45 connector at each end for flush, low-stress terminations in tight spaces
- Thin, flexible thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) jacket that routes easily through bundles and cable management
- Stranded copper conductors for repeated flexing, with UTP construction
- Rated by Ubiquiti for up to PoE+++, so the same lead can carry data and high-wattage PoE to cameras, access points and switches
- Built to TIA/EIA-568-B.2 and ISO/IEC 11801 cabling standards
- Blue jacket, useful where a site convention separates uplinks, device drops or management ports by colour
