The Ubiquiti UniFi G6 Instant (UVC-G6-INS, white) is a compact indoor camera that joins the network over WiFi rather than Ethernet. Ubiquiti describes it as a “Plug-and-play, 4K WiFi-connected camera with a 1/1.8″ 8MP image sensor, Multi-TOPS AI Engine, and two-way audio.” Setup is done through the UniFi Protect mobile app, and at 81.7 x 50.1 x 57.2 mm and 180 g it sits on a shelf or on its wall mount without drawing attention. It suits rooms where running a cable is impractical, and makes a useful way to extend an existing UniFi Protect system into spare rooms, hallways or a holiday house.
