The Ubiquiti UniFi Pro 8 PoE (USW-Pro-8-PoE) is an eight-port Layer 3 managed switch with PoE+ and PoE++ output and a pair of 10G SFP+ uplinks. Ubiquiti describes it as “an 8-port, Layer 3 switch with PoE+ and PoE++ output”, and the 120W PoE budget is enough to run a mix of access points, cameras, door readers and phones from one compact unit. The two 10G SFP+ ports mean it can sit at the edge of a larger network without the uplink becoming a bottleneck, so it suits small offices, tenancy comms cupboards, AV racks and home labs that have outgrown an unmanaged switch.
