The Ubiquiti UniFi Environmental Sensor (USL-Environmental) is a battery-powered wireless sensor that reports temperature, humidity, ambient light and water leaks back to UniFi Protect. It uses Ubiquiti’s SuperLink radio rather than WiFi, with a stated maximum range of 2 km, so it can be placed in a plant room, under a sink, in a cold store, in a roof space or in a remote shed well away from the nearest access point. A 3.5 mm AUX jack takes an external water leak probe for positions where the sensor body itself cannot sit on the floor.
