WiFi 7 (802.11be) speeds

The U7-LITE runs the WiFi 7 standard across dual bands:

• 5 GHz: up to 4.3 Gbps (BW240, 2×2 MU-MIMO)
• 2.4 GHz: up to 688 Mbps (BW40, 2×2 MU-MIMO)

WiFi 7 brings wider channels, lower latency, and more efficient multi-device handling compared to WiFi 6 meaning better real-world performance even before you hit headline speeds. MLO (Multi-Link Operation) is supported, though its dual-band nature limits the bandwidth gains compared to tri-band models.

115 m² coverage, 200+ clients

One U7-LITE covers up to 115 m² (1,250 ft²) a typical NZ home floor or an open-plan office. It handles 200+ simultaneous clients comfortably, so a busy household full of phones, laptops, TVs, and smart devices stays connected without congestion.

For larger homes or multi-floor coverage, deploy two or three and let UniFi’s mesh and roaming handle the rest seamlessly.

2.5 GbE PoE uplink

A single 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port handles both data and power (802.3af PoE, 13W max draw). That 2.5 GbE backhaul means the wired side isn’t bottlenecking the wireless important as WiFi 7 client speeds increase. The low 13W power draw means it works with virtually any existing PoE switch or injector.

Compact, ceiling-mount, invisible

At Ø171.5 × 33 mm and built from UV-stabilized polycarbonate, the U7-LITE is small, clean, and disappears into a ceiling. A wall-mount option is included (Lite Mount in the box) for spaces where ceiling mounting isn’t practical. No fans, no noise it just sits there and works.
