Implement motion and environmental condition detection with the UniFi Protect Smart Sensor from Ubiquiti Networks. This battery-operated multi-sensor enables you to receive instant alerts when motion is detected, or when a door or window is opened or closed. Additionally, this device features an ambient light sensor, an alarm sound sensor for smoke and carbon monoxide audible patterns, and temperature and humidity sensors to ensure you maintain the ideal temperature threshold in your space. To detect water leaks with this device, a water sensor adapter is required (available separately).

Bluetooth has two primary use-cases:
Device Setup – Your UniFi Network mobile app can detect the Bluetooth signal of unadopted APs and allow you to instantly set them up with the tap of a button.
Protect Sensors – The UniFi Protect Smart Sensor is adopted and remains connected to your network via Bluetooth.
