Description
ToF HAT is a high-precision laser ranging sensor specifically designed for the M5StickC. It integrates the ST VL53L0X laser ranging chip and a 940nm VCSEL transmitter. By measuring the round-trip time of the laser signal to the target object, it can measure absolute distances within a range of 2 meters in under 30ms.
What sets ToF HAT apart from traditional ranging methods is its ability to provide accurate distance measurement data regardless of the target’s reflectivity. This makes it suitable for projects that require precise distance measurement and obstacle detection where the reflectivity of the target varies.
